BMSS Imaging & MALDI SIG MSI Training Event 2025
Welcome to the event page for the BMSS Imaging & MALDI Special Interest Group for the second MSI training event to be held on June the 17th 2025 at Medicines Discovery Catapult, Alderley Park, Macclesfield.
Event Details:
The training, open to national and international attendees, will be delivered annually by an MS manufacturer on a rotation basis, supported by the host academic or research institution. For this year's event, the training will be delivered by KR Analytical Ltd, SunChrom GmbH and ThermoFisher Scientific supported by research staff from Medicines Discovery Catapult.
Comprehensive training will be delivered on the high-resolution Thermo Fisher Exploris 240 orbitrap mass spectrometer coupled with a MassTech AP-MALDI ion source. Sample preparation techniques will also be demonstrated along with a variety of image processing packages.
The meeting will end with a Q&A and feedback session.
Application Details:
This free-of-charge training is for a maximum of 8 trainees with a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of MSI to make the most of the day's teachings.
