Pharmidex is pleased to offer the opportunity to join our Bioanalytical team. We would welcome applications from scientists, with a minimum of one to two years of experience working in a bioanalytical laboratory, who are keen to further their career in bioanalysis. The role is a full time on site position.

Opportunities exist working to support both regulatory and non-regulatory studies including collaborative research projects funded by grants. Dependent upon experience, a successful candidate may also act to manage client interactions, assisting with study design and data interpretation as required.

Your responsibilities would include:

·Preparation of biological samples using protein precipitation, SPE or liquid-liquid extraction.
· Bioanalysis of samples by LC-MS/MS.
· Interacting with other departments internally as well as external clients.
· Supporting daily operations within the bioanalysis department.

Essential:

· BSc or higher in a relevant scientific field.
· A minimum of one to two years of experience working in a bioanalytical laboratory.
· A good working knowledge of sample preparation techniques, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
· Proactive and logical approach to problem solving and excellent attention to detail.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work alone or in a team environment.

Desirable:

· Experience of LC-MS method development and validation.
· A good knowledge and practical experience of GLP and/or GCP.
· A good understanding of ADMET studies in drug discovery and development.
· Experience with biotherapeutics or lab automation would be advantageous.
