BMSS Annual Meeting 2025
The BMSS is delighted to announce that that BMSS 2025 - the 45th Annual Meeting will be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Edinburgh, UK, from the 8th - 10th of September 2025.
The conference will include a 3-day scientific programme and vendor exhibition, together with a full schedule of social events.
We look forward to working with our colleagues in Edinburgh to offer delegates, sponsors and exhibitors an excellent experience at the Annual Meeting.
The Scientific Programme:
The Society is compiling an extensive and stimulating Scientific Programme for 2025, with content to engage delegates from all application areas. The latest version of the developing Scientific Programme may be viewed by clicking the link situated on the left of this webpage.
The Plenary Speakers:
The Meeting programme will feature three Plenary Speakers. Confirmed Plenary Speakers are as follows:
Kevin Pagel, Freie Universität Berlin
Erin Baker, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The Conference Venue:
The Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Edinburgh, EH3 8EE, is conveniently located near the centre of Edinburgh, and is well connected by public transport.
The EICC provides excellent floor space to host the scientific programme, poster sessions and vendor exhibition in one convenient location. Please see the Edinburgh International Conference Centre visitor information webpage for further details.
The Conference Dinner:
A formal conference dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday 9th September in the Cromdale Hall at the EICC. This is bookable separately to meeting registration.
BMSS Grants:
Qualifying BMSS members are eligible to apply for the society’s various BMSS grants for assistance with meeting participation.
