BMSS43 Social Programme
The Society invites you to participate in the BMSS Social Programme at the 43rd BMSS Annual Meeting (2023).
12th September 2023: Dai Games Symposium & Social Evening Supper (included in meeting registration):
The Society warmly welcomes all registered BMSS43 delegates to our buffet supper & social event on the evening of Tuesday 12th September at the RNCM at 1900 BST.
The evening will be anchored around a ‘Pan-Asian Supper’, with numerous Asian delicacies on offer. Vegetarian options will be offered as standard. Colleagues requiring more specific dietary options should indicate their preference on their BMSS43 meeting registration form.
The RNCM bar will be available until 2300 BST. Note: the RNCM is cashless and so delegates will only be able to pay for additional refreshments using a card/contactless etc.

13th September 2023: LGBTQ+ & Friends ‘Get-Together (ad hoc/pay as you go):
The BMSS LGBTQ+ Group warmly welcomes colleagues and friends to join us for an informal get-together at 1800 BST (scheduled to take place just prior to the BMSS43 Conference Dinner) at Yates, Manchester, M1 3LA on the evening of Wednesday 13th September,

13th September 2023: Conference Dinner (entry by pre-booked ticket at an additional charge):
The BMSS43 conference dinner will be held at 1900 BST on the evening of Wednesday 13th September in the International Suite (third floor) of the Mercure Hotel, Piccadilly Plaza, Portland Street, Manchester, M1 4PH. Attendance at the Conference Dinner is an optional extra (i.e. involving an incremental pre-paid ticket charge of £49). If you wish to attend the Conference Dinner please purchase a ticket when you register online for BMSS43. Please contact the BMSS Administrator if you have already registered for the meeting and now wish to retrospectively add a conference dinner booking. BMSS42 Conference Dinner Registration closes at midnight on Sunday 20th August 2023.
Note: A 'green star' on the delegate badge denotes a conference dinner booking. Your delegate badge will also act as your conference dinner ticket and so please remember to bring your badge with you to the dinner!
Dress code: smart casual
