The British Mass Spectrometry Society is a registered charity, founded in 1964 (registration number 281330). It aims to encourage participation in all aspects of mass spectrometry on the widest basis, to promote knowledge and advancement in the field and to provide a forum for the exchange of views and information. It is committed to ensuring equal opportunities and reflecting the diversity of the society as a whole.
The John Beynon Conference & Travel Fund
The John Beynon Conference & Travel Fund offers assistance to BMSS
members wishing to attend scientific meetings that promote or disseminate knowledge of mass spectrometry. All members are eligible to apply, however preference will normally be given to students and other early career researchers. Assistance is available to BMSS members of at least three months standing at the time of application. Applications must be received at least six weeks prior to the date of travel.
